Shine Your Light

You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. - Matthew 5:14-16

Light doesn't compete; it simply shines. You were made to illuminate dark places with hope, truth, and love. Your light isn't about perfection, it's about presence. When you live authentically and reflect God's goodness, others are drawn to him. Don't dim your light to fit in. Shine boldly, because someone needs the warmth you carry.

Prayer: Lord, help me to shine with your light. Let my words, actions, and attitude reflect your love. When I feel small or unseen, remind me that light always makes a difference. Use me to brighten someone's path today. Amen.
