Deeply Rooted, " Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness."- Colossians 2:7
To be deeply rooted in Christ is to be anchored in truth, nourished by grace, and unshaken by the winds of life. Roots aren't visible, but they determine the strength and fruitfulness of the tree. In the same way, our unseen time with God, our prayers, our study, and our surrender build a foundation that sustains us through seasons of drought, storms, and growth. When we root ourselves in Him, we don't just survive, we thrive. Gratitude becomes our overflow, not because life is perfect, but because our source is.
Prayer: Lord, deepen my roots in You. Let me not be swayed by fleeting emotions or worldly distractions. Teach me to build my life on your truth and to trust your process, even when growth feels slow. May my faith be strengthened daily, and may thankfulness rise from every corner of my heart. I want to be a woman who stands firm, nourished by your word and radiant with your presence. - Amen.
Thought to Ponder: What am I rooted in today- approval, achievement, or Christ? Only one source leads to lasting strength and radiant peace.
